(The flowers were blooming lovely)
Linda and I (Mairead) went to visit The Bobbio Centre last week. It was a glorious sunny day. We are planning our next workshop 30th August to 1st September. That’s two nights, starting on Friday evening and finishing on Sunday afternoon and will be held at the Centre with Magheramore Beach nearby.

(Opportunity to sit in nature)
We are calling this workshop a retreat for two reasons, firstly, we see it as a retreat from the stress and busyness of normal living and secondly we want it to be a retreat into nature. The Bobbio Centre is definitely the right place for that. It used to be an old estate of the gentry and the original big house still stands – it’s a convent now. The old stables or outhouses were converted years ago into a residential venue with 10 en-suite twin rooms. It’s not a hotel but very comfortable nonetheless. Plus the surroundings are magnificent, there’s ancient trees, winding paths, sea views and a walkway to Maraghmore Beach and the birds seem to sing all day long.
We can’t wait to spend more time just being there and we’d love you to join us.
